Clark College Foundation seeks an associate director of prospect development who is ethical and motivated, detail- and process-oriented. The job performance of this position impacts prospect identification, cultivation and solicitation, having a direct effect on the fundraising success of Clark College Foundation. Founded in 1973, Clark College Foundation is a nonprofit organization serving as the fundraising partner of Clark College. Position Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization's donor and prospect data, Managed Partner system and data entry policies and procedures.

  • Facilitate Managed Partners meetings, prepares reports, updates development officer assignments and partner movement and helps strategize next steps.

  • Foster collaboration and consensus between development officers regarding donors.

  • Enter contact reports provided by development officers into The Raiser's Edge.

  • Train and assist development staff in the use of the Managed Partners System, contact report entry and The Raiser's Edge dashboards.

  • Manage The Raiser's Edge events module, tracking event and development activities, and producing reports. Maintains an events module policies and procedures manual and provides training to staff.




  • Experience with The Raiser's Edge or other relational database is strongly preferred. Understanding of philanthropy and experience in a comprehensive campaign environment for higher education is helpful.

  • Must have strong analytical skills; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills; be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Experience with MS Office; proficient in Excel and Word.

  • The ideal candidate will have an associate degree and two years' experience in a nonprofit environment, or an equivalent combination of degree and experience.
