The Institute for Humane Studies seeks a Network Relations Coordinator to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented, and has the ability to communicate, engage and collaborate with a wide variety of internal and external audiences and partners. Strong candidates will possess an understanding and appreciation of classical liberal principles such as individual rights, free markets, limited government, voluntarism, and peace. IHS’ Network Relations team is an external-facing team that manages relationships with allied organizations and network-supported university centers across the country. The Network Relations team also works closely with internal programs teams to develop, drive, and implement a cohesive and effective network strategy for the organization as a whole.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the Network Relations team in building relationships with organizations and university-based research centers, with an eye towards event partnerships and academic placement
- Work with the Network Relations manager to execute on strategic goals
- Drive Network Relations data management and projects within Salesforce
- Conduct research on partner initiatives and compile reports on potential collaboration areas, including attending external events
- Create and maintain an updated list of external events
