Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Director Transformational Management.
The Director Transformational Management is responsible for leading execution of assigned system-level strategic priorities to further Texas Health's consumer value proposition. This role is responsible for engaging and coordinating organizational resources to deliver key objectives within a specified time frame (typically rapid cycle) and driving alignment across channel and capability leaders to focus efforts that support system priorities.
Salary range is Min. $102,772/year to Max. $154,980/year – based on relevant experience
Location: Arlington, TX
Responsible for planning and driving end-to-end execution of system priorities. This includes:
leading and managing cross-functional teams (10+ teams, directing up to 150 individuals) and utilize knowledge of change management to interface with senior leaders to drive execution and reach value realization goals,
defining and sequencing resources based on understanding of capacity and capabilities,
in collaboration with portfolio management and key stakeholders, ensuring metrics of success are defined that align with strategic objectives and the conceptual design of the project.
Leads coordination of activities across multiple business units for system level strategic projects. Understands and creates critical path, providing planning support and identifying and managing dependencies to meet established key milestones. This often includes creation of workplans, timelines, and schedules to organize complex projects.
Serves as a communication liaison between internal stakeholders, external partners, the project team, and other functional or departmental leaders to ensure understanding of all necessary aspects of the project and objectives are being met. Positions solutions and secures buy-in. This requires regular written and verbal communication to succinctly and clearly communicate complex issues in order to drive crucial conversations, alignment and decisions.
Leads change through crucial conversations to align leaders and teams towards strategic goals. Relational power is a key aspect of the work.
Partners with portfolio management to communicate progress up and throughout the organization on project milestones and progress towards goals. Will raise issues with Transformational Management leadership and key stakeholders (including portfolio management) if a project or components of a project are at risk for not delivering on original goals. Expected to propose stopping/changing/re-sequencing in a timely manner.
Helps with the development of common processes and tools to be used across the Transformation Office more broadly.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Policy/Management or other related field required
Master's Degree of Business Administration or Master's of Health Administration preferred
6 years experience in healthcare operations with experience in project management leadership and/or large-scale health care organizational change required
Previous experience with P&L accountability preferred
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to facilitate cross functional teams. Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders including various healthcare professionals, leadership, and external advisors. This includes the written and verbal communication skills required to present information required to drive alignment and decision-making.
Ability to make quality, independent decisions; work effectively and efficiently within an ambiguous environment; ability to meet frequent and changing deadlines demonstrated by the ability to structure an issue and analyze alternative solutions; ability to manage multiples projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent influencing skills and have demonstrable experience in realizing and driving forward a cohesive program of work, with the ability to resolve interdependencies across the company. The job holder is expected to have experience in successfully leading multi-stream or multi-site projects.
High energy, positive attitude and internal drive are essential.
Analytical skills to guide, manipulate and analyze relevant data to inform sound decision-making preferred.
Experience in metric creation; demonstrated ability to create ways to measure projects that have non-traditional value preferred.
