We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Operations to join our team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Senior Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization and ensuring the efficient delivery of our programs and administrative services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

Essential Functions

· Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and execute strategic plans and objectives aligned with the organization's mission and goals.

· Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, human resources, program development, reporting and compliance, and performance management.

· Provide leadership and guidance to a team of operational staff of 3+ team members, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

· Manage the organization's budget, financial planning, and reporting, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability in partnership with the Chief Financial Officer.

· Ensure proper management of Thriving Together NCW governance structure in partnership with Executive Director and staff lead

· Oversee Grant and Contract management to support sustainability of the organization and compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices, as well as identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.

· Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence throughout the organization, seeking opportunities to optimize processes and outcomes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

· Strong communication skills.

· Demonstrate the skills needed to build trust and develop the confidence of partners.

· Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the need of local community agencies and resources in Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan Counties

· Proven track record of leadership and management, with experience leading teams and driving organizational growth and impact.

· Ability to lead strategic planning efforts with the ability to develop and execute effective plans and strategies.

· Demonstrated commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for improving community health and well-being.

· Knowledge of non-profit budgeting and contract management

· Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and self-directed, including the ability to practice creative problem solving when encountering obstacles.

Education/Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Non-Profit Management, Public Health, or related field or equivalent experience

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in non-profit management, operations, or related field including hiring, training, motivating, and leading teams

· Experience with budget creation and management, required

· Contract and grant management experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands

· NCACH supports flexible work schedules and remote work environments.

· Frequent travel within the North Central region.

· Valid Washington state driver’s license, use of personal motor vehicle (with mileage reimbursement), and proof of appropriate auto insurance.

· Mental activities required by the employee in this position include decision-making, interpersonal skills, teamwork, creativity, customer service, mentoring, use of discretion, presentations/teaching, problem solving, and the ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
